The Barefoot Computing Project provides free teacher resources and workshops covering primary computing and computational thinking. The stand will be hosting an experiential area for teachers to get hands-on with the resources, learn more about the free workshops and get top tips and advice from the team. Barefoot content is aligned perfectly with the Curriculum For Excellence and is endorsed by Education Scotland. There are even sample key resources translated into Scottish Gaelic. The stand will demonstrate how easily Barefoot’s plugged and unplugged resources can engage pupils with computing as well as benefitting other areas of the curriculum, including literacy, numeracy and even PE! Alongside the stand, we will also be giving a talk to showcase just how fun, accessible and engaging computing can be. Come and see us on stand C30
